What is the interaction of a CNIO with a CMIO supposed to look like? Back in mid August we heard from Dr. Gregg Nicandri, CMIO at the University of Rochester, and now we hear from their CNIO Rosemary Ventura. Some challenges are similar across all of informatics regardless if we are talking about nurses or providers. Communication to large groups of end users, developing governance structures, and explaining what it is that we actually do to senior leaders is a part of the job for all of us. The skill set required to be successful seems similar as well.
